What a bullshit article.
The discussion of the labs in Ukraine amongst most of America was a product of Marco's question posed to Nuland and her bobbled handling of it, following by Marco's bobbled attempt at covering for it. It was apparent to any thinking person the US was engaged in activities it was trying to keep quiet with respect to the 26 such labs in Ukraine.
Of course people are talking about it. A senator asks a question, the witness tries to give an honest answer without spilling all her guts on the table in front of her, and the senator quickly changes the subject instead of probing on the question, a simple misunderstanding of the intent of his having raised the issue. He clearly wanted her to dodge it in typical fashion, and she thought she should be as honest as possible without totally letting the cat out of the bag.
Obviously, the funding was front he US. It wasn't Belarus providing the money. Who the hell else COULD it be?
Obviously, it is about weapons. Otherwise, they wouldn't be hiding it in Ukraine (since such research is illegal in the US).
Obviously, if Russia is going to develop such shit, the US is going to as well. No one can be shocked about that.
We shouldn't be doing it, but everyone else is and if Russia releases a pathogen we damned well need to release one, too.
Democrats should stop acting like children about this. |
