China cant really think this Omicron wave is dangerous can they? LMFAO! The people are stupid (same all over) but i dont think the "leaders" are.
The Chinese people aren't stupid. They know what's going on, probably more than you might assume given all of the censorship of the media there. The only problem is that the people really don't have much of a say in how to run their country.

As for their leaders, they've just chosen to pursue a "zero COVID" strategy. They'd rather tolerate lockdown after lockdown after lockdown than go through what the rest of the world did.

Eventually China will have to accept the truth, that their population will just have to get exposed to COVID like the rest of the world. Even though 80% of their population is "vaccinated," they only took China's version of the vaccine, which quite frankly sucks. So either China will have to admit that fact and accept foreign vaccines like Sputnik-V, Pfizer, or Moderna, or the Chinese population will have to develop "nAtUrAl iMmUnItY."

And that's going to be a HUGE shock to China's health care system.
