Also Sweden did fine without lockdowns etc.
Sweden saw more deaths than their neighbors, including Denmark and Norway.

P.S. - A recent report on Lancet says that India saw the highest number of excess deaths in 2021. Like I said, even India couldn't count the number of people who died to COVID-19:
