The country of Libya was wiped out, turned into Yemen or the Congo (or is it The Congo). From what I read. And as far as destruction of cities, we'll have to wait for the insurance claims. It is a war, been going on for a number of years in some form, things get destroyed. There were other options, for a lot of years there was no invasion despite something called the Minsk agreement. Whatever that is, was supposed to stop the shelling in the Donbas (or is it The Donbas).
Or so I've heard.
And of course it's some nutcase dictator, not the actual ruler of a country whose customs and costumes are really none of my business, aside from curiosity. And not even my country, but then there's oil, always a good thing to have someone else's kids die for. Not that there's anything wrong with that, geopolitics is complicated and best left to the experts. Follow the science.
We should agree to disagree on this one, hindsight is twenty-twenty.
