Next I called Lyle Anderson Enterprises and spoke to Mr. Mark Kazzier (spelling?). Mr. Kazzier is in charge of tournaments for Mr. Anderson's courses. He is currently quite busy with the Tradition tournament that will be held at Desert Mountain the weekend prior to Superstition's grand opening. He too was aware of the plans for the Classic, but expressed some doubts that it could be pulled together in time. He then gave me Dave Marr III's phone number. I called and spoke to Mr. Marr. He told me that negotiations were still ongoing, but that Mr. Anderson wanted the Classic to happen on March 30 to leverage off the Tradition crowds and the grand opening of Superstition. So, I guess we'll see. I have my doubts that March 30 is going to happen as it is only seven weeks away. Still, I do believe Mr. Marr is committed to building a new tournament. The question is simply when will it be pulled together.
