BC, there's only one source for that article, and it's behind a "freemium" wall. I found this, though: Ukraine Deploying Foreign Volunteer Medics to Kyiv as 'Cannon Fodder' (breitbart.com) Kind of puts Russia's strike on that base close to the border with Poland in perspective: Dozens of Foreign Volunteers Exit Ukraine After Russian Strike on Base (breitbart.com) Which of course is exactly what Russia wants. I don't think anyone going to Ukraine should expect anything less, though, especially when Russians are targeting civilians, and especially when Ukrainians are desperate to get warm bodies to hold guns and RPGs ...
