Would be interested to hear about other investors AG stocks. I think this sector provides good defense and may/could benefit from higher prices due to inflation.

B&G Foods Holdings (BGS) - retail supplier of fresh & packaged food; owns Jolly Green Giant
Armanino Foods (AMNF) - specialty frozen food
Cvr Partners LP (UAN) - fertilizer
Ag Growth Inc Fd (AGGZF) - grain bins and augers
Andersons Inc (ANDE) - regional grain merchandiser, plant nutrient formulation and distribution, turf product production; (ANDE is the Domestic version of BG relating to their grain business)
Gladstone Land Corp 6.00% Sr B (LANDO)- company acquires and leases farmland to corporate and independent farmers. (NOTE Common +300%; s/d have done 50:50 common:preferred)
Boswell J G CO (BWEL) - Farm land & crops; large water rights
Limoneira Company (LMNR)- Orchard crops; avocadoes, lemons, oranges & specialty crops; also has real estate development operation
Conagra Brands Inc (CAG)- prepackaged food, milled grains, seasons/spices retail & institution
J.M. Smucker Company (SJM)- various food products
Farmland Partners Inc (FPI) - a REIT that acquires primary row crop farmland located in agricultural markets throughout North America.
Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)- agricultural commodities (similar to ANDE but 30x larger) w/ more foreign exposure
Corteva Inc (CTVA)- Seed development; corn, soybeans & sunflower; weed & inset pest control
Village Farms Intl (VFF)- greenhouse tomatoes, bell peppers & cucumbers; also has a POT operation
CNH Industrial N.V. (CNHI)- sells trucks, commercial vehicles, buses, special vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment; The Veggie Boys Youtube family uses their equipment
S&W Seed Company (SANW)- specialty seeds; alfalfa & wheat seed sell to dairy & cattle farmers
Naturalshrimp (SHMP) - develops growing systems (w/ patents) for growing fresh water shrimp; expanding commercial facilities and is finally profitable
Stora Enso Oyj ADR (SEOAY)- integrated forest products company; trees to lumber to fine furniture
Marine Harvest ASA [Norway] ADR (MHGVY)- Farm raised Atlantic Salmon
Arcadia Bio (RKDA)- Bio-tech genic seed/plant developer; nitrogen use crops, salt tolerant plants, sunflower oil and shelf-life produce; Also has POT seed development in Hawaii
General Mills (GIS) - food products but very small position from one of my 'Alerts'; plan to build position every 2% lower
Phibro Anl Htlh A (PAHC)- global diversified animal health and mineral nutrition company; been selling position
Deere & Company (DE) - one share from my 'alert' system want to build position but am buying 20% lower |
