Henry K is alive and well. 98 years old. An old friend, a Dem, saw him, a few years ago giving a public talk. Was surprised at the man’s alertness and mental acuity. The talk was about his latest book. Looked through his bio en.m.wikipedia.org Realized that over the years I’ve known many German Americans (many of them patients) who arrived in the US around the same time, in the 1920’s- 30’s - and just like Henry Kissinger, not too many years later went back to Europe with the US army to fight the Nazis. The 20th was a pretty nutty century.
