Jay to Kirk, Ah Captain, Sometimes what looks like a dip at one point, turns out to be a high price AFTER one is stuck! Because one got greedy and thought the stock would move back to a higher price.(One of my best friends did this! His name is Jay!) GREED IS THE VILLAN! Not the stock or the market! My GREED will get ME killed not anyone else! I try not to say NEVER anymore also Captain, as my illness of GREED can attack at any moment! In saying NEVER I've been eaten alive! I have to tell you I do respect your style of trading. However on some days you need the stock to do one thing and I need it to do another. This leads to stress and then I have trouble reading your posts. Not because they're wrong or bad, but because I know you need the stock to do something different from what I need! It's simply the difference in our styles. You may short, I sell calls! You go long for 3/4 to 1 1/2 points, I sell puts. In my position, this is a better strategy for me and I'm simply more comfortable with it. Not mines right and yours is wrong. I've even had times when something you've posted has given me an idea that will work with my strategy. So Kirk, Keep postin' and glad to hear from you also! Good luck with your style and I'll keep mine out of necessity for now. Maybe in the future, when I feel I can do it effectively, I'll try yours! Kirk, One final thing. I don't believe I've ever whined on the thread! If I had tears in my eyes it was only from the PROJECTILE VOMITING I was doing! NOT WHINING!!!!!!! Jay Out, Good Luck wherever you are, and may you continue to explore new galaxies! Best to you Captain, Jay (Over and Out) |
