Highlights of the News
ITEM 1: Congratulations to Virginia freshman Emma Weyant, who was the fastest female in the 500 freestyle Thursday at the NCAA women's swimming championships in Atlanta.
The NCAA awarded her second place.
John Lord, editor-in-chief of Swimming World, wrote, "A joke was told in Atlanta on Thursday night.
"It wasn’t funny.
"A little more than three months after the possibility first arose, Lia Thomas captured a title while representing the University of Pennsylvania at the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Most times, a national championship should be celebrated, the athlete commended for her hard work, dedication, and discipline.
"Not this time.
"No, this title-winning effort in the 500-yard freestyle should be met with nothing less than a head shake, an eyeroll or a shrug of the shoulders. Why? Because Lia Thomas’ victory is an insult to the biological women who raced against her. Against those who fought for Title IX and equal opportunities for female athletes. Against science, and the unmistakable physiological differences between the male and female sexes."
Calling Thomas a man will get you censored on social media because we no longer live in a land of liberty. The tyranny of technology is upon us. And the people who run it are asocial idiots.
ITEM 2: The New York Post reported, "Martina Navratilova says trans swimmer Lia Thomas should have an ‘asterisk’ next to her name."
Well, he has one in his pants.
ITEM 3: The New York Times reported, "Largest Federal Utility Chooses Gas, Undermining Biden’s Climate Goals.
"President Biden wants electricity generated from wind, solar and other clean sources. The Tennessee Valley Authority plans to invest in fossil fuels instead."
TVA! TVA! TVA!
Biden is a stupid idiot who does not realize carbon dioxide is a nutrient and is necessary for the existence of life as we know it on this planet.
The staff at the NYT is even dumber than him.
ITEM 4: Gee, I wonder why every RINO and Democrat in DC calls Zelensky a hero.
Now readers know why I neither trust nor like Zelensky.
ITEM 5: Just the News reported, "Transgender youth and parents facing potential legal action in other states that are criminalizing gender-confirming healthcare could find refuge in California under a new proposal unveiled Thursday."
Sounds like California has found a niche market: sexually confused people who don't mind homeless pup tents and people pooping in the streets.
ITEM 6: Axios reported, "India's refusal to condemn the invasion of Ukraine and efforts to protect trade with Russia mean one of Washington's most valued strategic partners is actively undercutting its efforts to isolate Moscow."
The story said, "70% of India's military arsenal is Russian-made, and New Delhi is counting on Moscow for additional systems and spare parts.
"Buying Russian oil and weaponry 'is India's way of trying to ensure that Russia keeps India's interests in mind,' and doesn't shift toward Pakistan or become entirely beholden to China, says Aparna Pande of the Hudson Institute. That also helps explain the post-invasion silence from New Delhi."
Eurocentric minds won't like this, but the biggest threat of World War 3 is an Indo-Sino war between India and Red China. India must do what is best for India, not the New World Order.
ITEM 7: March Madness began.
Catholic schools went 6-1 on Saint Patrick's Day. St. Peter's upset of Kentucky was David's kid brother vs. Goliath.
ITEM 8: Matea Gold of the Washington Post tweeted, "In Ukraine’s second city, a furious rain of bombs and rockets takes a toll: ‘There are no coffins left.’"
But I thought Ukraine was routing Russia. How can this be?
ITEM 9: The New York Post reported, "A Staten Island man was arrested for sucker-punching a 92-year-old woman in an unprovoked attack on Manhattan’s Upper West Side Thursday afternoon, sources said.
"Enrique Loeza, 35, allegedly punched the victim in the back of the head as she read a menu in the window of a restaurant on Columbus Avenue near West 70th Street at about 3:30 p.m., law enforcement sources said."
New York is now a daily horror show under Mayor Cop.
With Democrats, the result is always the intent.
ITEM 10: The Week reported, "Stacey Abrams just boldly went where no Georgia gubernatorial candidate has gone before.
"Abrams, the Georgia politician who's running for governor of the state this year, had a surprise cameo in the latest episode of Star Trek: Discovery, appearing as the president of United Earth."
William Shatner would roll over in his grave if he were dead.
ITEM 11: The Daily Wire reported, "Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly considering lifting the Foreign Terrorist Organization designation on Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in exchange for a public commitment from Iran that they will play nice in the region."
Now you know why Biden cried when Trump offed Soleimani.
I wonder how large the bribe from Iran was.
ITEM 12: Post Millennial reported, "Recently-fired CNN host Chris Cuomo, brother of former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, initiated legal action against his former employer on Wednesday, seeking $125 in an arbitration claim. In so doing, he blasted former colleagues Don Lemon and Jeffrey Toobin for their unethical behavior, and noted that the network continues to employ these men."
Too bad you can't toast marshmallows on a Dumpster fire.
ITEM 13: American Wire reported, "After a sexual assault victim said she’s too scared to walk or drive the streets without a firearm handy, a male Democrat state lawmaker made the case that people like her should just 'stay home.'
"Arizona State Sen. Lupe Contreras made the stunning remark during an Arizona State Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on March 3rd about several bills designed to ease gun restrictions in the Grand Canyon State."
Democrats let perps walk bail free and expect victims volunteer for home confinement.
ITEM 14: Summit News reported, "YouTube flagged a Fox News interview in which former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said war in Ukraine was good for the military industrial complex as offensive content."
They never censor lies.
Only the truth.
ITEM 15: Biden will talk with Chairman Xi today, provided Red China finds a jibberish-to-Mandarin translator.
ITEM 16: CNN reported, "‘How could this be happening in 2022?’: Photographers seek answers while documenting Ukraine’s destruction."
The propaganda machine still insists those plucky Ukrainians are holding off Russia.
If they hold off long enough, there will be no more Russian army -- or Ukraine.
ITEM 17: The Daily Caller reported, "A federal appeals panel nixed a lower court ruling late Wednesday, reinstating a key White House climate policy implemented shortly after President Joe Biden took office.
"The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled that the case’s plaintiffs, a group of 10 Republican states, lacked standing to challenge the policy, according to the decision published Wednesday evening. Biden implemented the policy — which determined there was a social cost of continued carbon, nitrous oxide and methane emissions — via executive action days after he was sworn in 14 months ago."
Only an idiot would say that citizens lack standing in their own country.
Yet, here we are.
ITEM 18: Epoch Times reported, "Canada Unable to Provide More Weapons to Ukraine as Inventory ‘Exhausted’: Defense Minister."
They are out of weapons. Good. Now is the time to invade and take over the Great White North.
Unfortunately, our troops are too busy marching in high heels as part of their Diversity, Inclusiin and Equity (DIE) training.
ITEM 19: The Wall Street Journal reported, "Mortgage Rates Rise Above 4% for the First Time Since 2019."
Buy now before it hits 10% next year.
40 years of keeping inflation at bay have ended. |
