Paul, I've been following Verity for about 6-8 weeks. It appears that Verity has a strong "next generation" set of products. While they are having trouble generating revenue/income today, they are well positioned for the future. Something like 80% of the Fortune 500's information is locked inside IBM/Tandem type proprietary systems. Unlocking that and incorporating it into the enterprise/internet is a huge market. I'm very curious to see what functionality Microsoft builds into its next revs of NT and internet server. That is one potential large downside to the verity story. Interested to know what experiences people have had with their products.
