The S400 was used in Syria and shot down almost all of the cruise missiles we used in a large barrage.
Really? You want to talk about its performance vs. cruise missiles as an indicator of how well it would do against stealth aircraft? LOL ...

The only thing Russian SAMs have going for it is that they are cheap relative to the astronomical costs of American stealth aircraft. Shooting down even one F-35 would be a huge reward in itself, and we're shipping F-35 jets by the dozens to various countries.

But if we're really determined (which is a HUGE question in itself), we can overcome even the most advanced anti-air defenses. We've been doing it since Vietnam, and given America's reliance upon air power, it's safe to assume that America knows WTF to do against even the S400.
