What’s remarkable is how long Putin has been able to use publicists and western news media outlets to fool so many that he should be treated as a “Statesman”, when he is nothing more than a cold blooded killer, running a ruthless mob that pretends to be about prosperity for the people of Russia. That charade has been going on for decades, as his regime is invited to dine with other country leaders and be treated as a dignitary. He’s nothing but a Chavez with nuclear weapons. Because he has nucs so many cow-tow to him and find excuses for behavior I would describe as diabolically evil. Nothing he has done, or is doing will benefit the people of Russia long term. Instead, through his actions, the country will likely be set back decades and never rise to be a real success. The brain drain spicket has been opened wide. Intelligent Russians will vote with their feet if they still have a chance to leave.
