Murkowski is a RINO with Don Young and Dem hypocrisy as a model for how to extort. We tried to get her out, but she ran as a write-in and won, due to the Dems voting for her. Now we have this ridiculous Ranked Choice Voting coming up - just got approved. That will water down the votes to get the "compromise" candidates selected. Murkowski got censured from the Alaska GOP and won't be allowed in the GOP primary at all. The Alaska GOP is fed up with her compromising.
I love this line from Ayn Rand, which especially pertains to RINO compromising:

But turn this one around - with 72% control of Alaska by outside forces. We're using the hypocrisy of the Feds against them.

We sacrificed the land and are sticking it to the master. They don't see it as begging. They see it as bragging. (Not me, I see the bigger picture - especially with these self-serving bragging rights being used all over the country as a tool to divide and conquer.)
Alaska takes the oil/gas revenue taxes and puts it in the Alaska Permanent Fund. All residents of the State are equal stakeholders in that. We apply yearly for a Permanent Fund Dividend, which comes from earnings of the Permanent Fund after the State uses a portion of the earnings for the budget - to do all the things that don't get Federal funding. Everyone is incentivized to keep that going and running well. It is very well scrutinized. People get fined and put in jail if they cheat.
Can you imagine if, instead of taxes, the US government paid the US citizens each an EQUAL amount? Can you imagine if this was only done after each citizen was fully vetted as a bona fide citizen? Can you imagine if this was done in other resource-rich places, such as Ukraine?
Instead, we pay our Federal taxes in unequal amounts and a large share of the booty is squandered on foreign adventures so the well-connected can skim off what they want.
