If the market has a brain to match its stomach, it will realize that investment in Tava over the next 6-12 months is CRITICAL. This is the window during which maximized exposure is within the company's grasp. More potential business will let Tava in the door now than at any time, past or future. Right now every Tava engineer is like a cold-call salesman getting a 50% hit rate!

So every new "salesman" out there right now is worth his weight in future gold (or silver futures, for Warren's benefit).

If Tava has to pay a Y2K premium itself to bolster its engineering force, we should be ready to bite that bullet. Expenditures should be pegged! Straight out! Damn the torpedoes!

(And my investment style is conservative, too.)
