The longer the run-offs, the easier it is to backfill the paper ballots that they cheat with.

Would you rather have the candidate who got 36.6667% of the votes before they monkeyed with things, or 33%? Because in the example that the State gave me, the candidate that got 33.333% of the vote wound up winning. Bigger panderer, I guess. You don't go back to vote again. It's all part of the "election machine". They fool you by changing the rules, so when the result is eventually announced, the winner is given a higher percent.
