In this case, since their intentions were good, why not address this issue in a formal press release, especially after Quantum has clearly indicated that "These sales make Quantum question the confidence this management has in Saf-T-Lok.".
Thanks for explaining your reasons to me, did you talk to someone in IR?. If not, I'll try to confirm that with the company unless they address it in their next PR.
