The creation by the Jack ready for testing 3, 2, … tomorrow

He has spec-ed out a geewhizbang windows computer w/ water-cooled pipeworkings and over-sized triple fans and over the top power supply, with plug-compatible motherboard upgrade-path for ohwhoa CPU and can tag to announced but not yet available GPU card. The intention is to assemble and load software on a proof-of-use system, and then swap out the CPU and GPU to vastly upgrade capability / capacity. He did the calculation and tells me the approach should be safe - not mess up expensive chips - and economic - due to DIY assembly. I shall check his claims, but sounds like he thought through the issues.
