Highlights of the News
ITEM 1: Common Dreams reported, "Russia's devastating and deadly assault over the past three weeks has forced nearly 10 million people in Ukraine to flee their homes, according to figures released Friday by United Nations organizations."
The story said, "With a population of 44 million, that means nearly a quarter of all Ukrainians are now displaced either inside or out of the country."
The openly Marxist site reported elsewhere, "The United Nations' children's agency said Saturday that more than 1.5 million children have fled Ukraine since Russian forces invaded, while calling on the international community to protect child refugees facing a 'heightened risk of trafficking and exploitation.'"
Sir Winston Churchill Luther King Zelensky is doing a heckuva job. One-quarter of his people are now DPs and he has placed more than a million kids on the sex fiend market.
He won't cut a deal because he wants to look T-shirt tough in all those Zoom calls to Congress and various parliaments in which he demands mo' money, mo' money, mo' money. They give him money, he kicks back some. Everybody is happy.
Well, maybe not the people being bombed and the kids being sold into sexual slavery.
As for Common Dreams, isn't it interesting that the Marxists oppose Putin?
ITEM 2: The Russo-Ukraine War propaganda war continues.
The Washington Post reported, "Facebook, YouTube bans on RT and Sputnik muffle Russian propaganda."
The New York Times reported, "Russia Takes Censorship to New Extremes, Stifling War Coverage."
It is only censorship if Putin does it. When the Internet oligarchs do it at the behest of our government, it is the free market.
Forbes reported, "Russia sets plan to steal $10 billion worth of foreign planes held in the country."
Tass reported, "Zelensky signs law on confiscation of Russian property in Ukraine."
But wait. There's more.
OpIndia reported, "Ukraine President Zelensky bans 11 opposition parties over alleged Russian links."
This is like the Spanish Civil War. There are no good guys, just death and destruction.
FOLLOW THE BOUNCING BALL:
Well, come on all of you Americans, Media wants a war again, Z got himself in a terrible jam, Way down yonder in [squints] Ukraine, Put down your Xbox, move your booty, We're gonna have a real Call of Duty!
ITEM 3: Via Breitbart, Larry Summers, Clinton go-to guy on the economy, said, "I wish the president got more help from his economic advisers. Those spreads between gasoline prices and refined prices vary substantially on a range of factors. There [are] lags between the price of oil and the price of gasoline. When natural gas is in short supply, when diesel is in desperately short supply, it affects the mix of products that refiners provide and ways to change that spread. Maybe there is a basis for thinking that profits are being padded, but there’s nothing that would support that in the president’s tweet, and I haven’t seen any analysis coming out of the administration, or anyplace else, that provided serious support for that."
The pros know inflation will bring Biden down.
What the pros don't get is he just doesn't care. Biden is fine with one term as long as his crime family can milk it for all it is worth.
ITEM 4: Via Fox, Red China's Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng told the West to back off on sanctions because it and expanding NATO are backing Putin in a corner.
( Sun Tzu: "When you surround an army, leave an outlet free.")
Le said, "History has proven time and again that sanctions cannot solve problems. Sanctions will only harm ordinary people, impact the economic and financial system... and worsen the global economy."
The last 4 words are Red China's big fear. An economic collapse will more likely than not end (or great reduce) globalism, which is the ladder Red China has climbed.
The USA can be self-sufficient because it was built by capitalists. Red China cannot because it was built on communism.
ITEM 5: Blaze Media reported, "During the NCAA women's basketball tournament on Friday, ESPN sports announcers interrupted the broadcast on two different occasions to protest Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill and other bills like it across the country.
"The Parental Rights in Education bill prohibits Florida school employees from engage in classroom discussions about sexual orientation or gender identity grades kindergarten through third grade. Florida HB 1557 has been inaccurately dubbed as the 'Don't Say Gay' bill by Democrats, legacy media, and LGBTQ activists."
Announcer Carolyn Peck said, "A threat to any human rights is a threat to all human rights."
What about parental rights? Are they human rights too, or are LGBTQ the only ones with human rights?
ITEM 6: Newsmax reported, "Looking to leverage Americans’ anger at higher gasoline prices, the Republican National Committee began registering voters right at their local gas pumps in Arizona Saturday."
Dog walker Scott Presler is registering them at the pumps in New York.
I give this story 3 Biden "I Did That" stickers.
ITEM 7: Politico reported, "In speeches, ads and on social media, it is fast becoming the defining smear of the 2022 primary campaign season: RINO.
"The acronym — short for ‘Republican-In-Name-Only’ — is hardly new. But former President Donald Trump’s frequent use of the term has given it a new life, weaponizing a description once largely reserved for party moderates and turning it into a slur to be avoided at all costs."
I like how people who called Trump Hitler the last 6 years are upset over this.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

And there are even more common-sense tips from Mini-Mike's news service.
You are welcome. And remember, we can beat the oil crisis by inflating our tires because we cannot drill our way out of this.
ITEM 8: Axios reported, "The White House considered giving Americans gas cards to help offset high prices, but faced strong opposition from congressional committees, which questioned the plan's viability and effectiveness."
Gas cards!
Cool. No need to bother with gasoline. Just print up a bunch of cards ands put them in your tank, and off you go!
However, my understanding of how these gas cards work may be a little Bidenian.
ITEM 9: The Miami Herald reported, "Former President Donald Trump returned to Broward County Saturday to speak to some of his most ardent supporters from the stage of FLA Live Arena at the American Freedom Tour, a private event where attendees paid up to $6,999 for seats and access to some of the Republican Party’s biggest names."
Cool.
The story said, "The American Freedom Tour did not offer press credentials for the event, so the Miami Herald purchased a ticket. Proceeds, according to an event representative, paid for the cost of the event and for speaker fees."
I cackled like Kamala when I read that.
ITEM 10: Kane at Citizen Free Press reported, "Pigs fight off black bear that hopped into their pen in Connecticut…"
Nice video.
Connecticut. The Nutmeg State.
Nutmeg-coated bacon. Now I am HONG-GREE.
ITEM 11: Yahoo reported, "Mikhail Baryshnikov is standing up for Russian artists and athletes who are taking the heat for President Vladimir Putin's devastating attacks on Ukraine.
"The iconic Soviet-born dancer, 74, who famously defected to Canada in 1974, spoke out to the Guardian, clarifying that while 'an open exchange in the arts is always a good thing,' that doesn't mean public figures should be punished for their government's actions."
In post-constitutional America, a media-fueled mob makes up crimes as it goes along and punishes accordingly.
I hope those banned-by-the-mob sue and bankrupt those who fired them for being Russian.
ITEM 12: Business Insider (third party link) reported, "PepsiCo has drawn criticism for agreeing to export Scottish seed potatoes to Russia, amid the invasion of Ukraine.
"The Times of London reported that the deal with Aberdeen-based seed potato growers, Saltire Seed, came with the approval of the Scottish government. A government spokesperson denied this and told The Times that it did not approve export deals.
"According to the outlet, 2,000 tons of seed potatoes will be sent to Russia in coming days. The deal is estimated to be worth around $800,000 (£600,000)."
Sanctions don't work.
Hysteria doesn't either.
ITEM 13: The New York Post reported, "A growing number of Republicans around the country are demanding a new investigation into Hunter Biden after the New York Times confirmed the authenticity of [stopped lying about] a laptop whose contents were published by The Post 17 months ago."
I expect Benghazi II. Lots of smoke. No fire. The people in Congress know that but for the grace of God (and tons of cocaine and meth) go their sons and daughters.
ITEM 14: The Daily Wire reported, "A group of Iranian-backed extremists that Democrat President Joe Biden removed from the official Foreign Terrorist Organization list reportedly launched attacks against Saudi Arabia over the weekend."
Now you know why the Saudis don't return his phone calls. Biden is an agent of Iran.
ITEM 15: Debra J. Saunders reported, "The video on the website for BioTexCom, aka the Center for Human Reproduction, features Ukrainian men driving babies born to surrogate mothers to bomb shelters where smiling caregivers cradle the precious cargo and keep the infants safe from Russian firepower."
Saunders also reported, "This is what the video does not show -- the 66-year-old Swedish woman who gave birth to twins after IVF treatment with donor eggs, according to the organization’s website.(Snip)The arrangement is an invitation of exploitation -- with affluent couples (or individuals) paying women who need money to bear children in poor countries at their own risk."
She called them Ukraine's Baby Farms.
She wrote, "For the surrogate babies of Ukraine, one thing remains the same: They’re still being treated like a commodity."
This is the values of the country the globalists want our soldiers to die protecting.
ITEM 16: Axios reported, "Scoop: Biden officials fear 'mass migration event' if covid policies end."
Baloney.
The covid policies never applied to these lawbreakers.
ITEM 17: The Hill reported, "Zelensky on Sunday warned of a third world war if negotiations with Russia fail.
"Zelensky told CNN's Fareed Zakaria that talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin are vital, saying Ukraine has been reeling since Moscow launched its invasion."
For a fellow fighting a war, Zelensky sure spends a lot of time on TV. He's become the Avenatti of War.
He said, "We were losing people on a daily basis, innocent people on the ground. ... Russian forces have come to exterminate us, to kill us."
But I thought the plucky Ukrainians were driving the Russians home crying to their mommas.
He's become the Creepy War Propagandist.
ITEM 18: Reuters reported, "Germany and Qatar are negotiating a long-term energy partnership, government officials from both sides said Sunday, as Europe's biggest economy seeks to become less dependent on Russian energy sources.
"Germany said a partnership had been clinched, but Qatar stopped short of saying a deal had been finalized.
"Russia is the largest supplier of gas to Germany, and German Economy Minister Robert Habeck has launched several initiatives to lessen his country's energy dependence on Russia since it invaded its neighbor Ukraine."
Under President Trump, this deal would have been between the USA and Germany. No one trusts us now. I don't blame them.
ITEM 19: AP reported, "The House has voted to outlaw discrimination that's based on hairstyles and hair textures like Afros and cornrows."
That is the delightful thing about race huckstering. There is always some new front to fight.
FINALLY, Clarence Thomas is in the hospital for flu-like symptoms.
Please pray for him. |
