I wouldn't read too much into this. A year ago Oracle didn't take NT seriously as a platform for databases. One of their people looked at me very funnily when I asked if people used the NT version; 'not for serious stuff, no'. People were buying SQL Server just because they couldn't get Oracle to take them seriously. Now they do take the platform seriously, the NT share would naturally drift up. The long term battle has hardly started yet... Richard
