I recall him lying his ass off and saying the 100+ thousand troops he moved to the border, were on a training exercise and not intended as an invasion force. I also recall that he repeated the lie for nearly a month prior to invading, even after the invasion had begun while he was bombing Ukraine.
The entire "Ukraine caused this because of wanting to join NATO" train of thought, would have some credibility if Russia stated they were willing to go to war to stop Ukraine from joining NATO.
It would have some credibility if before he started bombing civilians he gave them a 30 day notice.
It would have some credibility if he gave them one day notice.
It would have some credibility if he stopped attacking and accepted the terms of no NATO membership when it was offered by Zelensky.
Instead, none of that has happened. He keeps killing innocent civilians by the thousands and the victim is being described as the aggressor.
Ukraine may be screwed up as Hogen's goat politically, but it's their right to be screwed up, as long as they are not impacting another country.
I despise having Cuban communists 90 miles from the U.S. border, but I wouldn't agree to bomb Havana into dust, because I had some scary dream of them invading the U.S.
If Putin couldn't manage his scary dreams of Ukrainians attacking Russia, he could have managed it without killing thousands upon thousands of people, and destroying hundreds of billions in property.
Statues hundreds of years old, wiped out! Homes, buildings and the architecture representing generations of work destroyed in a few weeks.
