Cause and effect, sometimes hard to determine. Very different stories can be woven just by choosing a different starting point.

There's a famous author who illustrates this well, name escapes me I think he wrote "The Labyrinth" although a search turns up many more current books and a movie by that name . Not those, some South American guy. Would tell a story, then change the elements around a little and tell the same story. I found it interesting.

A famous guy, I should remember but I'm really bad with names. Oh well.
