| | | Prez Z is generally considered to be a nice guy, a courageous underdog. But, he’s beginning to terrify me. First, he roams the world asking for “emergency” acceptance into NATO and the EU. Then, he screams through every channel available (and all of them are) about no fly zones (and why not? what ts wrong with a little no fly zone?). Now, he is willing to offer almost anything for peace - as long as he gets security guarantees from “some” NATO member countries (who will give the request silent treatment… I hope). Along the way, his message remains very fluid - sometimes, Crimea and Donbas are on the table, other times, he talks about fully restoring the integrity of Ukraine’s territory, exactly as delineated by Nikita Khrushchev in 1954.
It appears that who really need to make up their minds are the eminences behind him. Doesn’t seem like they’re ready for talks yet.
In the meantime, for his trouble, great amounts of advanced weaponry along with cash and whatever keep coming his way.
