I thought the little dip and relatively high volume in CTYS (now
CTYSC) back in August, 1997 was a buying opportunity:

No, look again, there really was a little drop off back then. It's
just in light of the later decline that the August debacle is hard
to see. The stock slowly dropped from $21 to $12, then headed for
$10. This was about a 2 to 1 drop, and since the above graph
is logarithmic, this is dwarfed by the later 20 to 1 drop. I bot at $10,
figuring on a quick return to $11. Then I watched it drop.
What a loser.

Incidentally, I bought a copy of Trading for a Living, and he
goes into the fact that "we are all losers". I really liked
this, because when I begin to doubt this is when I usually
get slapped good. It would be handy to have a nervous
woman standing behind me who would force me to sell
my losers for small losses. (Any takers in the Seattle area?)

My current speculation is 4500 shares of OAKT, bought Friday
at $6 3/16. Gonna unload it Monday, up or down, unless
the stock shows great stability, in which case I will continue
to hold unless something really attractive shows up.

Now if I could just make myself hold to earlier decisions, I
would be a lot safer. Emotions are your enemy.
