Crude Oil: prices have been flat this morning as NATO and G7 leaders meet in Brussels to address Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Remains to be seen if the discussions lead to immediate additional sanctions or other actions. Meanwhile, the White House has mocked the resumption of (limited) stock trading in Russia as “a charade.” And the world was reminded of another source of instability this morning, with news of North Korea launching a missile for the first time since 2017. Despite all the turmoil, futures are suggesting we’ll see a higher open at the start of trading in New York.
