Henry,

I indeed would be surprised to learn that Fred Arkoosh is no longer officially a part of Naxos. He officially is still the company's CFO, at least according to the Naxos web page. If that is not the case, I certainly would have expected the company to inform us of this important change. It is my understanding that Mr. Arkoosh has been quite actively involved in the affairs of Naxos over the past few months. He may not be active on a "day to day" basis, but I believe he was only active day to day when working with the ASE to resolve the issues that were outstanding with it or whenever a specific issue was involved. While Mr. Arkoosh's involvement may have diminished of late for whatever reason, he is still the CFO. If that has changed, I believe we are entitled to official information on this. As I previously expressed, I believe his role with the company is very important. I would not be satisfied with a simple unofficial role being played by Mr. Arkoosh when he is supposed to hold the position of our Chief Financial Officer. If there are internal problems and can be worked out internally in such a fashion as Mr. Pearson apparently alluded to, I have no problem with that. However, if it is serious enough that he is no longer the CFO and is no longer officially involved in or privy to major decisions being made by the company, we should be told about it! My interest is in the well-being of the company, both short and long term. We need professional business as well as mining persons at the top. Whenever a major change occurs, we should be advised of it and the reasons for it. While the progress of the assays are crucial, this is not the sole material issue facing Naxos at this very important juncture in its development. Major decisions have to be made about the future of Naxos and I would feel extremely uncomfortable of not being informed of something so basic as who is part of current management (and the reasons for any significant change).

sh

P.S. Henry, this post, while in part specifically in response to your post, is really a general one addressed to the company itself.
