Interesting post, it's fun when things like that happen, a tiny shift in perspective.

There's a priest who wrote some books, Andrew Greeley, has God whisper in some characters ear as a recurring device. Sometimes heard, sometimes not, mostly drowned out by the thrashing about the character was involved in. Nice books. Easy books. Not unlike what a talented psychologist might do.

I liked the idea.
