JIANG'S "NEW DEAL"...China's US$750 Billion Infrastructure Plan

It was U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt's "New Deal" Administration that by executive order in 1935 created the WPA (Works Progress Administration). The WPA built 650,000 miles of U.S. roadways, 125,000 public buildings, 75,000 buildings, and 800 airports. Some of these projects are still in use today.

Of note is the fact that the WPA was investigated by the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

(Congress was as full of jerks then as it is now. Un-American activities...Geez!)

Coincidentally, Jiang was reported to be reading about FDR when he last visited the U.S.
