I'm going to be out of my depth really quickly here because I don't know Ascend, Shiva or Gandalf other than superficially. As for Amati striving to be like WSTL, I think much remains to be seen. Ask me again in a month, two at most. I want to watch and see what partnerships they develop with router and analog modem players and what "parts of the engine" they end up making themselves. Or if they put their own Bugatti together all the way to the finish.

BTW, have you ever heard a real Bugatti engine? I saw one outside the Huntington Hotel in San Francisco a while back and when the owner got in and started it, I hardly heard a thing. A gentle purring was all. Wonder what it's like to ride in one?

Big smiles. <G>

Regards --

Pat

P.S. You adding WSTL yet?
