China is trying catch up...Among others... they have a lot of folks to feed... little is really binary in life...

The West as we know fcuked up the world for industrialization and now wants emerging nations to pay the price... Conveniently it keeps them down...

if the West was truly genuine... they would subsidize the EM nations.. to be greener... but interestingly they have trouble helping their own even ...
