I just watched a 4-part series called The Chelsea Detective about, wait for it, a detective who works in Chelsea. I was hoping it would be about a PI, but no, it is a fairly standard police procedural, with the eccentric detective, his sergeant, the English equivalent of a coroner, and two anonymous constables. It is rather low budget -- for once I didn't recognize nearly every actor form other shows they've been in -- and the stries are decent, but the main charm is that it is definitely set in Chelsea. In fact, they were a few what were onviously local in-jokes I didn't get, a plus for me. (It also helps that I have walked many of these streets in the past.)

The series improved even over the four episodes, so I will check out the next season if one shows up.

I am now on to the latest season of Shetland, which so far is looking like their best one in a few.
