All super big sociopolitical ideas, broad political fronts and movements - they’re all full of sh*t. Every time they make a free trade agreement - it’s true value is in keeping others out. They create all those blocks and clubs - so they can control the members and screw the non-members. The best political ideas are those expressed by America’s founders - keep the markets free, and the government small. Beyond that, for the most part, it’s all about creating opportunities for corruption.
