Dying 'of covid' and Dying 'with covid', is not made clear in this piece. There is a big difference. Lots of people are dying with covid but of many other comorbidity factors. Plus using gross numbers without reference to the population sets being discussed is misleading as well.
One would think that after two years of this horsechit we'd have all agreed on using a set of measurements that is good across countries and populations. But we have not done that. It is easier to just panic over amounts that are relatively insignificant, and to push causes of death toward political ends.

Even at the worst case, if one examines the statistics and sorts out the wheat from the chaff, this entire epidemic has been grossly overstated.
The vaccines are ultimately going to be proved more lethal than the disease. We won’t know how much worse for twenty years as the death rate sorts out the fools from the skeptics. Look around among your friends and family. Watch the sudden onset of unexpected disease and disability slowly increase. It will be dismissed in the same manner the 'pandemic' was exaggerated.
