Unfortunately, Mark went off on Hitler comparisons. He omitted the main problems which were and are the USA continuing the onslaught against Russia, surrounding them ready for another 1812 Overture, Charge of the Light Brigade, Barbarossa and All Quiet on the Western Front.
The USSR is long gone, with Stalin, Lenin, Brezhnev, Khrushchev etc dead and mostly buried. It's long since time for Zbig, Mc Cain, Nuland and the other evil-doers to get over Stalinist horrors. Fortunately, Zbig and McCain are dead but unfortunately, Nuland and Harpie Hillary are not.

The answer was to bring Russia into NATO and maybe EU, and go gung ho on economic integration. Forcing Russia into China's clutches is world class stupidity .
The attempt to boot Russia out of Crimea and murder and squash Russians in the east, while loading up Ukraine with Yank tanks, mirvs and hyperwar was absurd and of course going to get the result we have.
Crimea quite reasonably should be Russian. The Eastern provinces should obviously be independent countries. As with the split up Yugoslavia, Brexit, etc.
That's what's going to happen and could have happened if murder, arrogance, bribery, corruption, looting, and megalomania were not what USA/Biden/Clinton/Graham/McCain/AZOVs, Klaus Schwab, Zelensky, Yulia actually want.
If you want to die in MAD, carry on thinking you were born to rule. USA has jumped the shark. Wait until $30 trillion debt gets going, and a lot more besides.
Hopefully the nuclear war part of the process will not go full scale deflection, but there's a good chance it will since Americans seen unable to think aka reason.

To help you with arithmetic, at the rate Putin's going (only in response to USA attacks), after 20 years he has regained only Crimea and that was in response to the imminent threat.
Crimea has always been Russian = for centuries.
At 1 x Crimea every 20 years, he'll need 1000 years to recover a fraction of USSR. And of course East Germans, Poles and all the rest won't be voting to join Russia. Actually, they might the way Eurostan is going, but that's another story. Hungary is already resisting Eurostan ideology.
You might know that Vlad is made of DNA and telomeres like everyone else, so he doesn't have 1000 years. He's nearly 70. At most he's good for another 20 years. Probably only 10.
For 10 years, he'll be busy enough with local issues and China/India etc trade and stability. China might ask him to sell Siberia, like Russia sold Alaska. Russia is much more likely to shrink than grow. USA is helping China.
Russia is only 150 million poor people. China is 10x as many and not poor anymore.

For $20 an hour plus expenses I'm happy to solve the Ukraine problem, but of course the moron aggro Dr Strangelove types and Russia Russia Russia psychoes = Nuland, Clinton, Biden, Obama ( he sure is an excellent colour but the Nobel prize was misplaced), you, Steve and so many more wouldn't like it.
At least after MAD the few survivors in parts of Brazilian jungle, Africa, Outback Oz, a few Pacific islands won't have to listen to CO2 blather and gender pronouns. It's an ill wind that blows nobody good. With Washington and Los Angeles/Hollywood gone, some would think that a good thing too.
