It’s much much more complex than that.

Ukraine historically is a tiny country. Has been a part of Poland, as nauseum.

Many Russian connections, language links. The current Ukrainian construct is an artifact of pre Soviet and Soviet Russia.

It’s the size of Texas but the simplistic thinkers believe it is the same from East to West. It’s like suggesting that Beaumont is analogous to El Paso.

It is a huge complex patchwork.

The current situation is in many respects the result of artificial borders imposed without regard to nationalities, cultures, etc.

“Ukraine” needs to be understood as a complex artifact.

JoePlugs has no clue.
