All true. It’s an incredibly complex situation created by thoughtless people under both the Imperial and Bolshevik regimes - and all of them never doubted that their rule - and their infinite ability to suppress any dissent - will go on forever. There is also plenty of propaganda - which aims to flare up the tribal hatreds. Today's Russians must be hated for the sins of the perpetrators of Stalin’s “collectivization” of the early 1930’s - the Holodomor - and so on. Eventually, the country will need to be split up. If it won’t happen this time, it will happen in future conflicts.
