Bill - Re: "How accurate is Jackson's book since Intel would not cooperate?" On a scale of 1 (poor accuracy) to 10 (high accuracy), I'd rate it about a 3 or 4. Jackson discusses many critical themes, the gist of which are more or less correct. However, the details that go into discussing these themes have major errors in fact - many such major errors. Be careful in placing any real confidence in the details. His work deals more in personalities than it does in corporate information. He basically ignores Intel's technology, manufacturing and financial successes. It's an interesting read, but in the end you will not have gained a significantly better understanding of the company.
