Drain the SPR to temporarily lower gas prices by a few cents in order to buy votes. Fucking demented, pandering idiot. The SPR was created to deal with true supply disruption emergencies, such as caused by a middle east war, to keep the country supplied with the fuel which is the lifeblood of our economy. Not as a band aid to cover for his stupid greenie regulations which have constrained energy production and pipeline distribution.
