The buyers have got a few tricks to reduce the price . The company name slips my mind but what they did is put all the owners shares in a Royalty Trust inside the buy out . They then got dividends every year inside the Trust . This enabled the owner to get a huge tax reduction by not selling the shares . All share holders took the loss . Only seen it once but it must be more common . Looks like they could be arranging something right now .
