K2, Inc. (KTO) is no. 2 in the snowboard market behind Burton. I don't know whether MRRW is no. 3; does anyone have reliable figures on this? Other big players include Rossignol, Salomon, Sims, Ride (RIDE) and Elan. As a "pure" snowboarding co., MRRW may be no. 2 behind Burton, though, since most of those other companies make skis as well.

Excellent movement up today! I guess everyone watched the Olympics last night, then said, "Gee, I wonder if I can buy stock in a snowboard company?" :-) It should only get better as Morrow athletes start competing.

One thing that really annoys me is that the halfpipe is only going to be broadcast on TNT, not CBS. Is CBS stupid or what? Don't they know that halfpipe is the made-for-TV marquee event? Will someone please tell me whether CBS will at least show highlights of the halfpipe, and whether it is expected to be shown on news broadcasts.

Thanks,
Justin
