Whenever there are discussions on CEF's, the one thing critics pound the table on is leverage and how that leverage can cause severe draw downs during bearish market conditions. Although it's true helps to the upside, it can crush an asset to the downside.

Why do we have to own leveraged funds where there are plenty of non-leveraged funds with high yields?

Listed below are the CEF's we own that carry no leverage or low single digit leverage.

ETJ - 9.21% yield
SPE - 8.98%
ETW - 8.55%
ETV - 8.43%
IGA - 8.25%
AIO - 8.07%
ETY - 7.95%
ASG - 7.87%
EOS - 7.74%
BSTZ - 7.54%
EXD - 7.25%
EOI - 7.05%
BDJ - 6.86%
BST - 6.80%
RFI - 6.14%
BGY - 6.97%
CII - 5.70%
