Am guessing a good amount of that London-resident gold shall be moved to Shanghai or to Hong Kong, whether transacted or re-domiciled, but physically moved.

Now we start to have the situation where RMB / Yuan can be used to buy energy, and energy can be sold for gold. As RMB / Yuan already can be used to buy gold, the triangle is complete, that RMB <=> energy <=> gold <=> RMB

Very interesting, for once the mechanism is in place, and logistics smoothed out, and physical / digital infrastructure go brrrrrr, things change
