Brooks: Q98 is in beta for e-bill right now, and FPL is the only biller presenting through Q98. Going forward, you should have all billers available to you, probably Mar/Apr. The part about having to go to each billers site for detail is vague, it should probably read "the biller's or it's consolidator's site", because that is what would actually happen behind the scenes. If you think about how you might use it when you have 3-4 bills coming in, Q98 will aggregate the summaries for you, and in the case of utility bills and small dollar amount bills, you will probably just pay them. For larger bills like a charge card you will click on "get detail" and it be displayed for you, whether it is on the biller's server, CKFR's, JITS's or wherever. That is no different than if your bank was doing it for you. Your bank would aggregate the bill summaries, and if wanted to see the detail it would go to wherever the detail is, not necessarily the bank's site.

The billers are pretty sensitive about the detail data. Some of them insist on keeping it on an inhouse server, for a number of reasons. Others will allow a consolidator such as CKFR to hold it. BTW, when MSFDC goes to a biller, they do not give them the option of where the detail data goes. It has to go to a central MSFDC site. This is one of CKFR's biggest advantages.
