You don't know much about Ukraine either. You and Bruce should meet every Wednesday night to chew the fat. You two have so much in common.

Why Kiev? Haven't you ever had the curiosity to study military land campaigns throughout European history? Napoleon, WW1, WW2 & Hitler, etc? Or even here in the USA during the civil war. Ever read War Commentaries by Julius Caesar?

Do you know the reason for a feint? How about logistics?

Ukraine had built up a force of almost 100,000 of their best troops on the borders of the breakaway republics before Putin ever sent in his troops. Due to the way he has handled the operation, he now has about 60,000 of them trapped in a cauldron formation in the middle of the eastern section of Ukraine. With no way to reinforce themselves or to resupply.
