Yup that's it. Every casting date was original. It was a driver and needed some TLC, but it was all there. Today a 54 sold for 88,000, and it wasn't near as nice as that 57. Powerglide - anchor. Go 4 spd and clutch. I had to pay 8,000 for a real 57 4 spd = first year and only 660 of them made. Plus 5000 for a fuel injection unit for a 283 hp with correct date castings. 57 fuelie, 4 speed, when done 125 k to 150 k. My next project, after the Nomad is done - hopefully by July this summer.
