Discuss Advances in Data Storage Technology

Quinta Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology, Inc.
(NYSE: SEG), will hold a major press event on Tuesday, February 17, at 10 a.m.
PST, to unveil advances in data storage technology.
The company will disclose a revolutionary storage technology which is
designed to overcome the superparamagnetic limit.
The event will be held at Quinta's new Optical Technology Development
Center in San Jose, Calif. Seagate Chief Executive Officer Alan Shugart and
Quinta Chief Executive Officer Steve Kitrosser, as well as other key
executives and technologists, will host a one hour media briefing and Q&A
session to discuss marketplace, organizational and technological progress and
plans. A luncheon reception will follow.
