Hi Gary,

Further info on the competitive front for AAM's(from Paul Johnson's morning wire):

1. "3Com with its Onstream acquisition will be providing all of MCIs equipment. Mci, who already has (sic) 100 customer sites lined up and waiting for the service, is expected to offer 4 T1 IMA service at a 20% cheaper rate than 4 separate T1 leased lines."

2. "Brooks Fiber (aka Worldcom) is using Ascend's Sahara gear. While we are not sure of the number of Sahara boxes Brooks has deployed, we do know that Ascend has been shipping the Sahara equipment since December and has shipped roughly 300-400 units."

Note-the Sahara gear would be OEM's by Ascend from GDC, right? Anyway, it seems like there is even more competition in the offing than either of us thought originally (I discounted Cisco, you poo-pooed the above pair), and it doesn't sound like the competition is that far off.
