The replacement open standard (v.pcm/v.90) makes 3COM/USRX just another modem maker among many. It will be a crowded market. Also these modems will not help sell 3COM/USRX RAS. The RAS product has to sell on its own merits. This is about 50% of 3COM revenue which we bought for $8 Billion.
