(2-ii) Nato' plan has been going swimmingly, then
(2-iii) Russia been played
(3-i) if Putin's plan going as planned, and
(3-ii) Nato's plan also going as planned, then
(3-iii) Situation indeterminant, as plan against plan clash straight ahead
(4-i) if neither side's plans going according to plan, then
(4-ii) very bad situation enveloping
