I still remember the toils I did circa 1984 traveling to China from HK with 'portable' computer setup, together with the team I was a part of, altogether the three of us two compaq transportable (27 lb) 64Kbyte computers (110 V), two pieces of solid metal voltage transformers (220 to 110 V), two Epson dot matrix printers one telex tape hole puncher machine three sets of copy-protected software on 5 1/4 floppy discs lots of consumables (printer paper w/ sprocket edges, print cartridge, telex tape, floppy discs) business travel was less a pleasure in those early good-old days
